I am 16, I plan on going to SCAD in Georgia. With my art I try to put personal social awareness into my work, i’m struggling to find MY personal style but i know it’ll come to me eventually. I’ll either push the limits of abstraction or I’ll find a way to make realism different than just “realism.” There’s not one topic my art focuses around, it can be about my ideology as a feminist, modern issues like police brutality and the issue of racism in the world today. I’d say a lot of my work doesn’t come off as “deep,” some might not even call all of it art. I think that anything can be art if you put something behind it. Just because the majority doesn’t see it as “art,” that doesn’t mean it’s not a masterpiece. there’s no good art, there’s no bad art, only personal preference and social stigma driving society to one form. I try and make it unique, I try to make my art focus away from the “social stigma” in the art world. there’s no one meaning, i’m just trying to be me. i’m trying to make it unique, i’m trying to influence the world.
