Silent Nights

silent nights by Raquel Milosav

on a night like this you lay rested under wrinkled shirts,

layers and blankets too thin; decoration made only

pass through the front door,

float above the moonlit street

like a one-way catwalk

More concrete and more darkness next,

more emptiness; more serenity,

less chaos

less of me

so take less of me

in a sip of the night

I will wait

in this black liqueur

forever in a cocktail of indigo night sky and stars

if you ever need a drink

tell us what you think!
